In honor of its 50th anniversary, the retailer is revamping its name, too. Macy's will officially rebrand as Macy's in November, with the launch of its new Macys Fragrance Line. The fragrance line was inspired by the many ways customers can "spritz" themselves—spritzing a print, strewing a bottle of perfume on a pillow, spraying on a sweet note to a loved one, placing a scent in a bag as a surprise, or simply spritzing yourself in a well-placed cold air spray. Check out the 10 facts below and you might just be more comfortable spritzing yourself this season.

1. Macys.com will be your one-stop shop for fragrance. The online fragrance shop will carry the entire Macys fragrance family, including the popular Smoke & Cured and Kate spritzes.

2. The new fragrance collection debuts on Aug. 1, but its beginning to hit stores now. Beginning today, you can pre-order The Heat, an irresistible new scent that features fruity, green-leafy essences blended with spicy woods. Pick up the free scent gift with purchase in August and enter to win a $25,000 Macy's shopping spree! Also on sale now: The Rocker, an uplifting floral-floral hybrid, and The Latte, a spicy, dry floral.

3. In addition to fragrance, Macy's will also launch its first ever loyalty program. Macy's will use a mobile app to determine your Macys Rewards Circle level, meaning you'll get exclusive offers and benefits based on your points.

4. In honor of the 50th anniversary, Macy's plans to offer complimentary Macys Fragrance gift sets with any perfume purchase in their new Macys Fragrance Line. A free gift is offered with every purchase of a $75 purchase.

5. The new Macys Fragrance Line will be the only Macy's fragrance collection with a candle in the box. The 7-inch candle creates a fruity fragrance diffused throughout the room, while the top and bottom tips of the candle cover each other, making the fragrance last longer.

6. At less than $10, the new Travel Sampler ($9.99) will provide the essential fragrance in all five of the brand's most popular scents, including The Heat. All other fragrance options will retail for $13.99.

7. The new candles will be available in four sizes: travel size, refillable ($5.99), round tin ($8.99) and three-wick ($9.99). You can pre-order them now at macys.com/crate.

8. The fragrance marks for Macys.com are being completely redesigned and refreshed. To accompany the new look, the first-ever Macys Fragrance map includes the availability of product-specific marks. The map also tells you where you can find these marks in your local Macy's.
